Title:
Cannot save Jabber IM name to contact
Status in address-book-app package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Status in address-book-app source package in Saucy:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
20131005
TEST CASE:
1. Load Contacts app and create a new contact
2. Add an IM name (using anything other than Jabber) e.g. Skype
3. Add another IM name for Jabber
4. Press Save button
EXPECTED RESULT:
The contact should save successfully with both IM details
ACTUAL RESULT:
There is long pause (with spinning dial showing) and then Error message displaying "Fail to Load contacts". See screenshot attached.
Note that if you don't add the first IM (i.e. Skype) and only add 1
Jabber IM, then when the contact is saved, the Jabber IM data is
discarded and does not get saved to the contact.
