Title:
on_ac_power doesn't notice usb powersupply
Status in powermgmt-base package in Ubuntu:
New
Status in unattended-upgrades package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Some ARM-Boards have more then one possible power-supply, for example you can power them also over USB. But /usr/bin/on_ac_power returns that there is no connected power-supply if its an usb power-supply.
you can solve the Problem if you also allow an USB Device as a power-supply.
This causes Problems like unattended-upgrades and other features are not working.
You can do this if you patch the /usr/bin/on_ac_power script with the attached patch.
