Title:
  caps lock not working if auto caps on

Status in ubuntu-keyboard package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Open address book and create a new contact
  Notice the shift key is highlighted
  double click the shift key to turn on caps lock (I want to type an all caps name)
  start typing and the shift key goes back to normal after typing first character
