Re: [Bug 1510162] Re: Brother Scanner (MFC-465CN) no longer works
Thanks a lot. Years ago I got it working both on the network and via
USB. I am connected through the USB port. It worked on the 32 bit
version of 14.xx but with the move to 15.10 and 64 bit, things got ugly.

Title:
Brother Scanner (MFC-465CN) no longer works
Status in cups package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Upgrade from 64 bit 15.04 to 64 bit 15.10... Brother scanner (MFC-465CN) has worked since it I bought it (Ubuntu 8.04). Sometime you have to jump through some hoops but I have always made it work.
I have now tried everything, uninstalled and reinstalled brscan2-0.2.5-1.amd64.deb, brscan-skey-0.2.4-1.amd64.deb and brother-udev-rule-type1-1.0.0-1.all.deb. Also, updated the rules manually and applied permission changes manually. NOTHING!
Something is broken!!!
