Title:
[CA0106 - CA0106, playback] No sound at all unstable DMA pointer
Status in “alsa-driver” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Trying to get my xTreme Audio (CA1006) to work. Sometimes it works for a short while, and then only front/back left channel and front center. Right channel (front and back) and sub doesn't work at all.
After a while no sound whatsoever, but when running ubuntu-bug left channel sunds correct, and with the alternating signals right channel works but quite lower in volume. Only front spekars sounds during test.
In Windows (XP, 7, 8, 8.1) the card works fine.
