Title:
pictures taken by camera don't show up in gallery first time
Status in Gallery App:
Fix Released
Status in “gallery-app” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
build 189
need to wipe your device
launch gallery (note, no Pictures/camera subdir exists yet
launch camera
take some pictures
go to gallery
Expected results:
pictures taken should show up in gallery
Actual results:
pictures don't show up in gallery until you kill it and restart. After you do that once it works from then on.
I believe the problem is the ~/Pictures/camera sudirectory does not
exist when gallery is started, so it doesn't monitor it. Gallery
should be fixed to monitor newly created directories and dynamically
add pictures when they are added to the subdirectories
