Title:
Should camera app need trust prompt on enabling location for the first
time
Status in camera-app:
Confirmed
Status in Canonical System Image:
Confirmed
Status in trust-store:
New
Status in camera-app package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
STEPS:
1. Install the latest rc-proposed
2. open the camera app
3. You get a trust prompt asking for use of the camera
4. Switch to video mode
5. Tap on record
6. Trust prompt is triggered again for mic access
7. Go back to photo mode and enable loaction
EXPECTED:
I would expect to see a trust prompt for location here
ACTUAL:
It is just enabled as the trust prompt broke too many things at the time of conception, so camera app was whitelisted.
Being as it is a requirement for camera to have trust prompt for
camera and mic access should it be the same for location too.
