Status in mir package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Configuration problems are reported to cerr (where they are likely
  lost to view) and then ignored.

  They should probably be reported using mir::AbnormalExit to abort
  execution - failing that they should go to a configurable report. Or
  both.
