Bug description:
  Clients never receive mir_surface_visibility_exposed/occluded events
  in demo shell any more.

I recall around the start of July I noticed this new feature. Clients like mir_demo_client_egltriangle would print:
     Surface occluded
  or
     Surface exposed
  Sometimes a bit too often.

But now such clients just say "Surface exposed" on startup, and never
print any occluded/exposed messages at all. Even when I am occluding
and exposing the surface in a variety of ways.
