Title:
camera_service eats lots of CPU even when in photo roll
Status in Canonical System Image:
Confirmed
Status in camera-app package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
I have about a dozen photos and videos on my mako.
When I run the camera app and look at the app log, I see loads of
messages like this:
libust[6087/6105]: Error: Error opening shm /lttng-ust-wait-5 (in get_wait_shm() at lttng-ust-comm.c:958)
libust[6087/6106]: Error: Error opening shm /lttng-ust-wait-5-32011 (in get_wait_shm() at lttng-ust-comm.c:958)

These messages are continuously being written to the log, whether I'm
in the view finder or the photo roll. With the app just sitting on the
photo roll page doing nothing, top reports around 40% CPU usage.
