Title:
  Installation on Acer Aspire One 110 w/ 8gb SSD gconfd-2 crashed with
  SIGSEGV in strcasecmp()

Status in gconf package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  at 66% of the installation the process crashed. I have an 8gb SSD 1gb
  RAM in Acer Aspire One ZG5. I tried partitioning the drive and placed
  ubuntu  firstat the beginning of the drive but the installer failed at
  66%. I  then tried putting the partition of ubuntu at the ed of the
  drive but ithe installation failed again. O don't know how to check
  for the sectors of the SSD but please take a look at the compiled
  report. thank you and more power to ubuntu.
