Logging in to Unity8 desktop I find text rendering is irregular and not
pixel-aligned. Particularly noticeable in the notification bar pull-down
on the top right.

Actually full pixel alignment is not necessarily a requirement, but nice
to have. Even without that this bug is significant because small glyphs
are aliasing with the pixels; sometimes one pixel wide but sometimes
less (so shown dimmer).
