  carousel shadows do not resize

Bug description:
  using the following schema to render a carousel category

          "aspect-ratio": 1,
          "fill-mode": "fit"

  Changing the aspect ratio from 1 to 1.5 resize the images but not the
  shade in the phone. This works fine in the fakenev tool.
