I’ve briefly seen the same font corruption issue (as seen in the first
screenshot attached) yesterday while running autopilot tests on my
laptop (running Wily x86_64).

No idea what the issue is, but it’s not xenial-specific.

@WindTux: are you seeing it happen often? Are there special conditions
that trigger the issue more easily?

  i use Ubuntu 16.04 Xenial Xerus and the webbrowser don't render
  properly the fonts on the andress bar. i attach a screen.
