  "Incoming" is empty

Status in The Unity 8 shell:

Status in “unity8” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  When I get a message e.g. via pidgin. and have unity8 running. Both shells show the blue envelope to indicate a message has arrived (cool that this works already :) ).
  However, on unity8 the incoming tab still says "empty". I would expected that I see a link to the conversation like in unity7 there too.
