  Emulator locks up 30 seconds after boot

Bug description:
  Currently booting the devel-proposed image:

  devel-proposed  ubuntu=20140818,device=20140811.1,version=198

  I am able to boot the image and interact with it for less than 30
  seconds before the UI and emulator locks and must be closed.
