[Bug 1366882] Re: Blocked on start, GUI doesnt' work
Thanks for this help.
To be honest, I really find this 'launchpad.net" site very hard to understand (what is this, what should i do, I don't always understand comments and the reason off the comments). I known, i am a rookie but I have problemes to convince poeple around to use Linux as I did wrong things from the start. Bad understanding due to me, but not only. Even on official Ubuntu'site, It can "help" doing wrong things as it is explained by very advanced expert. They don't always details ALL their explanations, e.g. You must Unmount a volume BEFORE doing e2fsck.........obvious for you, but not for 95% of poeple using Windows today. Where to found a reference, completed, without any errors and understandable for beginners ?
I really think this : If launchpad could include an "option" for new users (real roockies doing wrong things, not real bugs, probably bad mixes into different distrubutions), it could be a step forward to "Linux the World"
As Launchpad seems to be :
1- The Reference (difficult for me to measure when I don't understand all.....) when users are "experimenting Bugs"
2- An Absolut Must (Incontournable in french) where a new user will landing in all the cases (when coming from this devil called windows truc and stuff, Linux looks as a challenge for mad poeple, believe me) and be stuck on,as me!!!
3- A Huge database when looking for "very precise pacquets", upgrade and the reason why, and giving outstanding results when having a lot off time to read and schearch...and read.....and schearch......not easy and time consumming.
In other words, this can be a "marketing idea" to attract poeple who
like B.Gates and don't want to leave him as they don't understand
informatik's world, even when surounded by.
My Best regards.
PS This took me around 1h20 from the start of the bug, anyway, Thanks
you.

Title:
Blocked on start, GUI doesnt' work
Status in “xorg” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Good Morning, (depending on your place)
When starting, it stay on terminal and don't do anything else.Must
ALT+PrintScreem(Ins.) + B. Before this, I did the same, following this
sequence : K,S,E,I,U and finally B. This lead me to the Grub Menu,
choosed Ubuntu With Recovery and as it is like that for twoo days now,
I have tested some options (Grub, fsck.....) and I didn't see
improvement.
A few messages I 've got (Don't blame my poor level off SupeRookie working on a MesSysteme)
