this seems really solid lately, I'm on image#234 devel-proposed
no matter what i try, I cannot seem to get it to power off without first witnessing the dialog.
is there a particular state you may need to be in for this to be reproducible ?

  Power off dialog sometimes fails to appear.

  When this happens the user keeps holding the power button and the
  hardware soon decides it should force a power off (without shutting
  down Ubuntu?).
