[Bug 1352825] Re: Unity8 takes too long to start

 

Yes, now it doesn't feel that we are waiting for the spinner to appear. It's better, but on android after you are done with the wizard you start immediately with the tutorial.
Could we do something like loading unity on the background while the user is answering questions so when the wizard is closed the tutorial is immediately visible?

  On first boot of the phone, there is a delay of 20s (5s of black screen and 15s of spinner) between the wizard and the edge intro.
  It should be much shorter to improve the first time boot experience.
