  settings: string's defaultValue not displayed

Status in “unity-scopes-api” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  I have a localized settings.ini file with only a string.

  The displayName is displayed localized, as expected.

  The defaultValue is NOT displayed in the input box, neither localized
  nor not localized.

  Here's the contents of the settings ini:

  [sample]
  type=string
  defaultValue=Value
  defaultValue[es]=Significando
  displayName=Display name
  displayName[es]=Nombre para mostrar

  Please see screenshot attachment.

  Note also the input box is not sized correctly to fit the default text
  it displays.
