[Bug 1084484] Re: [Aspire M3-581T, Realtek ALC271X, Speaker, Internal] Playback problem

Just in case anybody sees this old thread and wonders if ALC271X works
for Linux:

I have

    $ aplay --list-devices
    **** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ****
    card 0: MID [HDA Intel MID], device 0: ALC271X Analog [ALC271X Analog]
      Subdevices: 1/1
      Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
    $ uname -a
    Linux pc08 3.11.0-12-generic #19-Ubuntu SMP Wed Oct 9 16:20:46 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
    $ cat /etc/issue
    Linux Mint 16 Petra \n \l

and it works fine.
