Title:
Regression/Trusty: Ultron un-1 most keys no longer recognized
Status in “ibus” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Device: Ultron un-1 (USB Calculator/numerical keypad) [0603:0002]
The keypad was working on 12.04 (Precise) but on 14.04 (Trusty) most
keys do not work under Unity. They do work in the password dialog of
lightdm and when switching to VT console. I am attaching input-events
output from a shell window under Unity and running from the VT.
It appears to me like the device tries to enforce num-lock status on
each keypress and on the console this causes a led event as feedback.
This seems to be missing when doing the same under Unity for some
reason.
