[Bug 1370612] Re: contacts from a google account fail to sync
Hi,
could you please provide the following information to help us debug:
1) what version of the build is being used? (System Settings->About Phone->OS)
2) could you attach the following log file to the bug as an attachment.
Here are the steps to provide it
a)enable developer mode on the phone by going to System Settings->About Phone->Developer Mode and switching on the Developer Mode switch. You'll have to setup a pin code or passphrase lock if you don't already have one
b) plug your phone into a a usb cable and into your desktop
c) from desktop run "sudo apt-get install android-tools-adb"
d) from desktop, run "adb pull /home/phablet/.cache/upstart/sync-monitor.log" - this will copy sync-monitor.log from your phone to desktop
e) upload sync-monitor.log as an attachment to this bug

Bug description:
I have a google account set up, and contact sync enabled. Upon
opening the contacts app, a syncing progress wheel is displayed and it
never goes away. I have left it running for over 30 min before killing
