[Bug 1373118] Re: Vertical line of pixels separating the launcher from the rest of the screen
Yep, I can confirm that when setting a darker wallpaper, which I used to
have at the time I thought this wasn't a feature, makes the line so
unpronounced that I hadn't noticed it before setting a brighter
wallpaper.
If I may ask - why is this a feature? It looks awkward.

Title:
Vertical line of pixels separating the launcher from the rest of the
screen
Status in Unity:
Won't Fix
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
There is a line of pixels from the wallpaper, between the launcher on
the left, and the rest of the content. It is especially visible when
contrasted with a darker content (e.g. terminal or a black picture) -
because the wallpaper is of that color.
This is best seen on the attached image.
I was also told this could be a Compiz bug, so I'll try to add them as
well (I've subscribed "compiz packagers" - not sure if that was what I
was supposed to do).
