lowering priority as this is not a typical use case. of course it
shouldn't crash but don't think this is critical. The reason it takes a
long time to restart after it crashes is because apport is generating a
crash file for gallery and it can't be restarted until this is done

  Summary:
  gallery app crashes after closing app, it takes a long time to open after the crash

  Steps:
  1. take a lot of pictures with the camera app
  2. open gallery app
  3. quickly close gallery app (swipe left and up)
  4. repeat steps 2 and 3 until crash file is created in /var/crash (most of the time it's not needed)

  Expected result:
  app does not crash

  actual result:
  app crashes
