Installed today's daily live (http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-
live/20141003/utopic-desktop-i386.iso) in VirtualBox - the bug is really
fixed.

But I can't understand why MD5SUM of http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-
live/current/utopic-desktop-i386.iso = MD5SUM of
http://releases.ubuntu.com/utopic/ubuntu-14.10-beta2-desktop-i386.iso .
So the systemd package was updated, but ISO not?

  service lightdm status is stop/waiting

  once lightdm starts and logged in cat /proc/fb shows 0 VESA VGA - same
  result prior to lightdm start
