Title:
Pictures are show under the wrong date
Status in “gallery-app” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Metadata in pictures taken by the camera app contains the GMT
timestamp. If I take a picture on September 5th at 9PM local time, it
falls under September 6th in the gallery's event list because the
timestamp is 2013/09/06 01:00 GMT. I would expect that if I took a
picture on a given day, the gallery would associate that picture with
that day in my local time zone.
