[Bug 1368814] Re: Volume slider still available when Silent Mode is on

 

Remember that silent mode here is used only by the 'alert' audio role.
The volume slider should still show up when the active role is
'multimedia', 'alarm' or 'phone'.

Ideally the silent mode would just mean a mute for the 'alert' role, but
this need further changes in ubuntu-system-settings and a few other
places.

  During usability testing in August, one participant was confused that
  a volume slider was still available after turning on Silent Mode.
