Its not that recoverable errors are being reported with ProblemType:
Crash, rather that the recoverable_problem script is crashing parent
process, which we were trying to gather data about, disappears.  This
was originally bug https://code.launchpad.net/bugs/1345569 for which I
uploaded Evan's fix, which ended up causing the crash linked to in this
bug report. I've since resolved the other crash in 2.14.7-0ubuntu6, a
package version which doesn't appear in the linked to report.
