[Bug 1383328] Re: On resume, screen locks after a delay with some background pictures

That's more of a unity issue, it shouldn't show an unlocked session for
some seconds if the image is slow to load.

Settings chould perhaps store a resized version of the selected bg image
as well to reduce the unity8 work though

Status in “ubuntu-system-settings” package in Ubuntu:
  New
Status in “unity8” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
With some pictures, on resume from suspend, there is an important
delay before the screen locks (several seconds) or the shutdown dialog
  is displayed which it shouldn't

  Test Case
  1. Upload the attached pictures to the device
  2. Open system-settings and set the attached picture as background
  3. Short press the power button to suspend the phone
  4. Wait a few seconds and short press the power to resume the phone

  Expected result
The phone is locked and the greeter is displayed

  Actual result
On resume it takes several seconds to lock the phone and display the greeter. Very frequently the shutdown dialog is displayed.
