[Bug 1293267] Re: make_ext4fs results in "can't set android permissions - built without android support"

Also affects 14.04. Why still not fixed? Is it too hard to recompile
little piece of sources with right options?

Title:
make_ext4fs results in "can't set android permissions - built without
  android support"

Status in “android-tools” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
When trying to use make_ext4fs command(through the mkuserimg script),
it errors out with "can't set android permissions - built without
android support", solution was to compile from source and add
  "-Icore/include -DANDROID" parameter, works fine.

What i ran to reproduce this was "mkuserimg -s /media/carson/img
  sparse-system.img ext4 /tmp 1309M"

  Ubuntu 13.10
  android-tools-fsutils
