We've had this same issue on Chrome OS for a while. Today I dug into it
and posted my findings here.

Of particular interest to this crowd is that using we see the mouse
trying to retransmit the packet with 3 fingers.

I also found the issue to be based on the BT adapter's manufacturer:
Broadcom/Atheros work, but Intel didn't. I didn't have a Cambridge
Silicon adapter handy to test.

  Hello, when i use three fingers, the pointer disappears and cursor
  freeze

  I am using an PC with USB Bluetooth, o Magic Trackpad works with one
  tap and two tap, but when using with three, four or more fingers don't
  works....

  When use three fingers, the cursor locked and after an time show
  "loves handled"

  Is it  possible disable "loves handled"?

  Someone knows why this happen?
