[Bug 1388052] Re: OptionSelector in dialog has inconsistent borders

Thanks Matthew, that's not really a border, it's a Divider, which
listitem elements have set by default. There is a "showDivider" property
that can be set to false.

The fact that the line doesn't reach the border should be fixed in
https://code.launchpad.net/~zsombi/ubuntu-ui-toolkit/thindivider-
margins/+merge/239320 (which didn't land yet)

There might also be an issue there in setting, that it uses the list
version of the optionselector, which is why it has a divider. The code
could use the non list variant or toggle showDivider to false

Should we reassign to settings to address the previous point, or do you
still think the OptionSelector in the toolkit is wrong? Your issue might
be rather with the fact that listitem show a divider by default (it's
also what leads to have an extra line next to section divider in some
places)...

Title:
OptionSelector in dialog has inconsistent borders

Status in “ubuntu-ui-toolkit” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Ubuntu 14.10 r135

  1. Go to System Settings > "Wi-Fi".
  2. If Wi-Fi is off, turn it on.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the list and choose "Connect to hidden network".
  4. Look at the "Security" menu.

What you see: The menu has a border along most of its bottom, but not
all, and not the other three sides.

What you should see: The menu has a consistent border. To be
consistent with text fields, probably its corners should be rounded as
  well.
