[Bug 1367822] Re: [Scopes] Process required to pin a shortcut to the launcher does not fit users mental model
Where is the rationale for this bug? Where is the design document? Where
are the visual designs or wireframes? What happens in the event of
failure?
These "bugs" which are just "do this thing" are not at all helpful. I
cannot look at this bug and know what is supposed to be implemented
exactly. Where does the button go? What are the animations that need to
happen? Why does the user even care about any animations? How is the
user supposed to use it? What do we show/tell the user when some other
process is actively hitting the disk/CPU/etc hard enough to cause any
IPC to time out, and the action to fail?
