Title:
system-settings auto-bright checkbox doesn't toggle indicator checkbox
Status in The Power Indicator:
New
Status in “indicator-power” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
The indicator-power silo which just got approved for RTM doesn't fully
sync with ubuntu-system-settings. Specifically, toggling the
automatic brightness checkbox in system-settings does not cause the
matching checkbox in the indicator to change.
It works the other way around, indicator to system-settings. And the
brightness sliders stay in sync. It's just the system-settings to
indicator toggle which fails.
The new feature is approved anyway, since it's better than having no
controls at all in the indicator, but the sync should probably be
2-way instead of just 1-way.
