[Bug 1260981] Re: multiple certificate prompts for self-signed certificate
Looks like this was fixed at some point, I’m now getting only one
security warning, and it’s not a prompt anymore.

Title:
multiple certificate prompts for self-signed certificate
Status in Web Browser App:
Fix Released
Status in “webbrowser-app” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
If I go to a site that serves content with a self-signed or otherwise invalid certificate, I get a prompt that says:
"This connection is untrusted
You are trying to securely reach
<foo>, but the
security certificate of this website is
not trusted.
Proceed Anyway
Back to safety
"
However, if the site delivers lots of content via https, multiple
prompts are given to the user. I couldn't remember the site that I
discovered this on, so I googled and found:
https://www.pcwebshop.co.uk
Navigating to this site in webbrowser-app will prompt the user with
7-14 certificate prompts. Furthermore, clicking 'Back to safety' I
need to click through 3 times and it doesn't seem to actually do
anything (ie, the site is still displayed-- perhaps in reduced form,
I'm not sure).
