[Bug 1392744] Re: mako/vivid does not show install progress

So this looks like it is very likely an issue with u-d-m having been
rebuilt when copied to vivid, while unity-scope-click was a binary copy,
and a change in perhaps Qt resulted in a binary incompatibility which
causes this crash, and a simple rebuild fixes it. As there is a change
to the scope in process of landing to vivid already, this issue should
be resolved when that lands and the scope is rebuilt and published.

Title:
mako/vivid does not show install progress

Status in “ubuntu-download-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed
Status in “unity-scope-click” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
I use a n4 with the vivid channel and I'm on image #20. When I go to a
app in the store and click on "Install" I see now change in the UI,
i.e. no download progress, no change in the button etc. But I do see
activity in the u-d-m download logs and eventually the screen will
refresh (or at least turn blank) and the app is installed.

The log also shows me some "download_db.cpp:285] Parameter count
  mismatch" errors.
