[Bug 1321920] Re: Ctrl-V doesn't work

 

Until todayI thought the webbrowser (and ALL the webapps) on Ubuntu
14.10 desktop were unusable - copy and paste is essential. Have found a
workaround by right clicking on the web page, and the touch dialogue
comes up for paste. This is a major functionality issue, and should be
fixed - ctrl +v is standard on all systems. This should be backported to
14.10.

Bug description:
  (It is possible to paste text using Ctrl-V from the clipboard into the
  address bar.)

  It is not possible to paste text using Ctrl-V from the clipboard into
  text fields on the web page itself.
