Title:
PopupUtils/PageStack difficult to troubleshoot error when a component
can't be created
Status in Ubuntu UI Toolkit:
Confirmed
Status in “ubuntu-ui-toolkit” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
When PopupUtils or PageStack is passed a component which has an error
in it, all that is shown is
QQmlComponent: Component is not ready
PopupUtils.open(): Failed to create the popup object.
This isn't very helpful and makes it hard for the developer to
troubleshoot the problem. Component provides a errorString() method
that provides more details about why the object could not be created.
Could this be used in PopUtils and PageStack to provide more details
to the developer?
