[Bug 1166890] Re: Libindicator should use startup-notify when launching application shortcuts

 

raring has seen the end of its life and is no longer receiving any
updates. Marking the raring task for this ticket as "Won't Fix".

Bug description:
  If we have a platform-data we should use startup-notify as well.

  This means that when launching an application with context,
  libindicator should send to it also a startup-id containing the
  timestamp of the action that triggered the event.

  This for example will allow to properly fix bug #1164483
