Title:
Porting documentation for 1.4 is innacurate
Status in Autopilot:

Status in autopilot package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Status in autopilot source package in Saucy:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
The instructions for how to port from 1.3 to 1.4 are inaccurate.
Specifically, they don't mention that:
select_single now raises StateNotFound if nothing is found (instead of returning None).
wait_select_single now exists to remove the looping hack around select_single.
autopilot is not python 3 compatible.
