Title:
SIGSEGV with module-remap-sink mixing to mono
Status in indicator-sound package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
indicator-sound-service crashes with a SIGSEGV immediately when it's
executed if I have a mono sink made with module-remap-sink in
/etc/pulse/default.pa.
This is the line that makes it crash:
load-module module-remap-sink sink_name=mono master=alsa_output.pci-0000_00_1b.0.analog-stereo channels=2 channel_map=mono,mono
I have never tried variations of that line, but I know that the sink
works normally and does what it's supposed to do (mix the audio to
mono), so I don't think it's a problem with it. If I comment it and
restart pulseaudio, then I can start indicator-sound-service and it
will work normally.
I'm using Ubuntu 15.04.
indicator-sound 12.10.2+15.04.20141105-0ubuntu1 (the most recent version as of now).
