  Ubuntu cannot be rebooted, turned-off using menu

Bug description:
  Hi, I have menu options to reboot and shutdown ubuntu (unity), but
  they do not work, they do not do anything. I have to push button on PC
  (power) and then Ubuntu asks if I want to reboot/shutdown/suspend...
