Title:
  after reboot, i got a loop of the login prompt

Status in initramfs-tools package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  . i got a nvidia driver update before and a reinstall of the nvidia
  proprietary driver seemed to have helped.

  before i had problems resuming after closing my laptop lid. the
  backlight of the screen would turn on but there was nothing on it.
  rebooting solved this, but very often i had bad problems running
  different sites in google chrome, namely google sites like gmail,
  youtube, google music or so. sometimes chrome froze. in this occasion,
  i did a reboot and got into the login loop.
