Well I reported this very long back .
now I am not even using 12.10.

Even Ubuntu 14.04 after some updates  is not much stable as 12.10 :(  .
Trying pcLinux .

Bug description:
  After waking up Ubuntu 12.10 from stand-by ( suspend). its showing a
  blurred screen. my Ubuntu has has default DE . before with L Ubuntu DE
