[Bug 1057186] Re: Modem functionality of the Huawei E173 and E3131 doesn't work
Ubuntu 12.10 is now end of life. If anyone are able to still see any of
the problems described here in a newer Ubuntu version, please run
"ubuntu-bug modemmanager" in a terminal. Feel free to link to these bug
reports from here.

Bug description:
Modem functionality of Huawei E173 works in 12.04 but not in later
releases, although it can be read as a drive.
Otherwise, the modem itself is recognized by the modem-manager but
fails to connect to Internet.
