Bug description:
  Steps to reproduce

  1) Enable auto-punctuation in settings

  2) Switch to pinyin

  3) Tap the space bar twice.

  Expected result:

  The keyboard should add the Chinese full-stop character: "。"

  Actual result:

  Two spaces are inserted.
