Title:
Arabic login screen doesn't write Arabic
Status in console-setup package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
I have downloaded an alternate CD of last Ubuntu 8.04 bata version (As
of 31-3-08) "ubuntu-8.04-beta-alternate-i386.iso", I selected Arabic
interface, but it didn't ask me about which keyboard I want to use. It
asked me about the username and the password, I could enter inputs in
English by switching using left "Shift+Alt".
When Ubuntu boots without CD, it's asking me about the username (Which
is must be in English letters) but I can't insert any letter in
English even using left "Shift+Alt".
This problem wasn't with me only, I have asked one of Arabain Ubuntu's
users, he told me that he has seen this bug before, and he can't fix
it.
