  Slow keyboard response including key presses reversed

Bug description:
  Acer Aspire AX1301, 256GB SSD, Ubuntu 14.10, using Unity.

  Tried with USB and PS/2 mouse

  
  When typing the response seems a little slow, and frequently the system gets the key presses the wrong way around. For example, you may type 'on', but it is detected as 'no'. Only happens when typing fast, but the key presses are DEFINITELY in the right order when typed -they just come out the wrong way round.

  Searching has shown no similar issues reported, either for Ubuntu or
  other distro's.
