[Bug 1298968] Re: cursor/pointer 'freezes' upon logon to the password window

Title:
  cursor/pointer 'freezes' upon logon to the password window

Status in xorg package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  cursor is still freezing I have tried numer things including this I
  found on a ubuntu site:
  http://askubuntu.com/questions/361112/ubuntu-13-10-freezing-on-splash-

  I used the command 'sudo apt-get install  --reinstall xubuntu-desktop'
  that was list on the site listed above, it worked for a bit, here's
  the output from the term:

  This all the info I have for you, other than this is not a fresh
  install.
